On February 13, 2020 in partnership with Moms Stop The Harm (MSTH) and Stop Overdose Ridge Meadows (STORM) our film presentation is “Flood: The Overdose Epidemic In Canada”.
Between January 2016 and December 2018, there have been more than 12,800 apparent opioid-related deaths in Canada, resulting in reduced life expectancy for the first time in four decades. Flood: The Overdose Epidemic in Canada is a documentary that aims to reduce the stigma around substance use disorder (SUD) and inspire others to take action.
Come on out for an evening of thought provoking information, ideas and discussion.
Speaker Panel: To be announced
Doors open at 6. The film begins at 6:30.
