Join us to kick off festival season with the Family Freecycle, Food Truck Festival, Repair Café, Cycle Recycle Free Bike Draw, Electric Vehicles, entertainment, and a special Haney Farmers Market. Our eco-inspired, family event features hands-on art & activities, interactive displays, and workshops celebrating our community & environment.

 2020 sees the continuation of our “Heal(thy) Community, Heal(thy) Self” theme. In 2019 we focused on Mental, Social, & Economic Health and in 2020, we will look at Healthy Infrastructure, Environmental Health and Physical Health in the lead up to Maple Ridge hosting the BC Summer Games.

We look forward to showcasing Maple Ridge’s natural assets and green infrastructure initiatives, highlighting ways for people to get physically active, and encouraging people to step up & take action on things that are important to them. The main Earth Day event, which attracts over 3000 people, will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 10am – 2pm at Memorial Peace Park.
