Our goals for this program, go beyond creating support for this initiative and truly stretch to our vision of seeing this house and community resource become an established part of Maple Ridge, one that operates with open doors. 1. To see youth come through our doors and find security and encouragement as they move forward, working from an individualized plan that caters to their specific needs. 2. To work collaboratively in Maple Ridge, with fellow service providers to enhance our communities ability to serve youth. 3. For youth to find a sense of belonging in their community, from involvement in sports, art programs or other meaningful initiatives. 4. To provide opportunities, when necessary, for youth to engage in alternate education programs that motivate them to get involved in their own learning. 5. Create incidental learning opportunities to enhance and develop each resident’s life skills, while they are living at the house.
