I just received this email from the Vancouver Permaculture Meetup group. I don't personally have the time to take something like this on but I think it is an exciting proposal. Just thought I would pass it on in case anyone knows anyone. . . I hope it happens.

 James Anthony's idea:

"Aquaponics and conventional farming"

I have 5.6 acres in Mission and am wondering if someone would
like to farm it. I am also interested in doing Aquaponics on a
large scale similar to Growing Power (seach you tube: growing
power and Will Allen). There are two greenhouses that can be
available for this, they are 30' x 100' each. There is a 6000
sf building on the property that we would like to lease out for
$4 per sf (need to pay the taxes and mortgage somehow). They
property and the greenhouses would be on an income share basis.
You provide your expertise and enthusiasm, we provide the land
and greenhouses. We have had some interest from University of
the Fraser Valley in our ideas and introducing aquaponics into
their curriculum, we just don't have the time to pursue this.

Anyone interested? you can email me at trimera@telus.net

Thanks

James
